Spring is here and the Cloverdale Community Garden Club (CCGC) welcomes our former gardeners, as well as any new gardeners! Our first event will be Garden Clean up on Saturday May 14 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. So mark your calendars! All are welcome to join the CCGC.
On May 14, 2022, garden members, old and new, will be cleaning up the garden. In addition, individual garden plots will be assigned. Please come ready to spruce up the area and prepare to help with planting seeds in select common areas. Tasks will be assigned once people assemble. We don’t have a garden lead/coordinator this year, so if you know someone or if you can spare some time and are interested, please let us know.
Sadly, I’m away for the Garden Clean up Kick-off but, will return mid-June. Until then, please look for Reg Kontz, Past President, Cloverdale Community League and gardener, as well as avid gardeners -Keith and Moon Trueman. Together they will be on site to help coordinate the day’s events.
I look forward to meeting everyone once I get back and hope to organize 1-2 fun, social garden events so we can share garden secrets, successes and just have some fun. Stay tuned!
