The Community garden is located on the north side of the Bennet Centre. We broke ground on May 2, 2015 and have since provided the Food Bank with 188 kg of potatoes. 25% of our garden space is used to grow food for the Edmonton Food Bank.
The garden has 24, 4’ x 8’ individual growing plots and 2 raised beds. There are a number of communal growing areas where produce planted is shared by all members. Common growing areas produce: Rubarb, tomatoes, potatoes, squash, zucchini, beans, peas, herbs and salad greens.
Garden Club fees are $30 for a single plot.
Garden Members must have an up-to-date Cloverdale Community League membership before they can join.
