Berry lovers unite! Come learn about berries of Amiskwacîwâskahikan from Indigenous, research, and community members’ perspectives. This is a hands-on experience for all ages!
The event is on Saturday, October 22 and will start at the Bennett Centre (9703 94 St) indoors at 1pm where we will listen, learn, participate, share, and taste local berries. From 3–4 we will take a guided tour outside into the beautiful river valley and across the Tawatinâ bridge to learn about local berry picking and planting, and other urban forestry essentials.
