The Edmonton Ski Club (ESC) is inviting neighbours to a Community Information Drop-in Session to learn more about the initial phase of the ski facility reconstruction project and provide their feedback on the plans.
Background:
The lodge at the Edmonton Ski Club (ESC) has reached the end of its life-cycle. As a result, the ESC is now making preparations to construct a new facility. The first phase of project will include the demolition of the current building, while making use of a series of modular buildings for interim operation of the ESC and the Edmonton Folk Festival. The ESC is currently in the early stages of a design for a new, environmentally responsible and energy efficient building. The new facility is proposed to be a multi-purpose facility that will function as a day-lodge for summer and winter activities, in a welcoming, vibrant, uniquely central and LRT-accessible location.
